On Thursday, Oct. 6, City of Denton officials – including Council Members Dalton Gregory and Keely Briggs, as well as City staff – were presented with Denton’s new Gold-level Scenic City Certification during a reception at the Texas Municipal League annual conference in Austin.
On Oct. 10, the City of Denton was notified by Denton County Public Health (DCPH) that a resident who traveled to Puerto Rico has tested positive for Zika virus.
Interim City Manager, Howard Martin, has conducted an evaluation of the organizational structure of the City of Denton and announced today various promotions and departmental changes.
