On Sept. 12, the City of Denton entered into Risk Level 4 – Public Health Warning of the Mosquito Surveillance and Response Plan.
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE AND THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.77 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $49.75.
Denton has been awarded Scenic City Certification through the Scenic City Program of Scenic Texas.
