DME is planning to hold special informational meetings regarding the construct of new substations in Denton.
The first of these meetings, which covered information relating to the planned substation on McKinney Street near Spring Tree Row, was held at Singing Oaks Church, 101 Cardinal Drive, Denton Texas, 76209. The meeting took place on Thursday, November 15 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The information below was on display at the meeting:
A PUB Public Hearing for the McKinney substation project was held on Monday, December 3 in the City Council Chambers. The PUB voted to recommended approval of the substation site at this meeting.

The second meeting covered information relating to the planned substation on the corner of Loop 288 and Audra Lane. This meeting was also held at Singing Oaks Church, 101 Cardinal Drive, Denton Texas, 76209. The meeting took place on Tuesday, November 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This was also an open house meeting.
A PUB Public Hearing for the Audra substation project was held on Monday, December 10 in the City Council Chambers. The PUB voted to recommended approval of the substation site at this meeting.
