Solid Waste & Recycling provides weekly trash and recycling collection to residential customers. Curbside trash and recycling carts are emptied once a week on your collection day. We offer three trash cart sizes—the smaller the cart, the less you pay. Recycling is an automatic service provided, the more you recycle the less trash you have to throw away!
Carts should be in the street with the wheels against the curb by 7 a.m. on your collection day. Keep your carts at least four feet away from each other, yard waste, and all other objects; such as parked cars and mailboxes. Your cart should be out no earlier than 6 p.m. the night before your collection day, and removed and stored by 8 a.m. the following day. Carts may not be stored in front of a residence. All acceptable items must fit inside each cart with the lids closed. Any unscheduled items placed outside of the carts will not be collected (excluding yard waste).
