Electric Vehicle Chargers

  • Information: Electrical Vehicle Chargers require the submittal and review of an Electrical Permit. Electrical work that is part of an alteration, shall be included in the alteration permit. Any commercial chargers must be submitted as a Commercial Alteration Permit.
  • Submittal Requirements: An Electric Vehicle Charger permit may be submitted electronically by applying on eTRAKiT  then selecting Residential Alteration Permit and EV charger subtype. The permit can also be submitted in person at the Development Services Center. The required submittal documents are an MEP Application (PDF), site plan or floor plan, load calculation, panel schedule, and one-line diagram.
  • Inspection Required: Electric Rough; Electric Final
