Commercial Diversion

The Commercial Diversion program requires all multi-family, businesses, government, and commercial entities to create a diversion plan that recycles/diverts materials for reuse from ultimate disposal at the City of Denton Landfill.

Diversion

Diversion is the act of redirecting waste from the landfill to another location for reuse or reprocessing to increase the landfill's life and provide significant environmental benefits.  This can be accomplished through recycling, composting, the reuse or repurposing of materials, the proper disposal of hazardous materials, and more.
