City Secretary’s Office
The Mission of the City Secretary's Office is to deliver exceptional services in a courteous and efficient manner by encouraging participation in governmental processes, safeguarding municipal elections, enhancing transparency, and ensuring access to records while maintaining the integrity expected by local and state legislation.
Facilities Management is responsible for the construction, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services for City buildings and facilities.
The City of Denton is committed to financial transparency. Access Finance (Accounting) documents such as budget information, Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports, and more.
Fleet Services, a division of the Transportation Department, provides all City-operating departments with total vehicle management, specifications, procurement, service and repair, as well as assisting Materials Management with asset disposal through online auction support. Fleet’s mission is to provide excellent customer service, maximize asset availability and provide safe and reliable vehicles and equipment for use in serving the community.
