Welcome to the Aquatics Department!
City of Denton Parks and Recreation manages the Civic Center Pool (CCP), the Natatorium (NAT), and Water Works Park (WWP). An All-Access Pass is available for all three aquatic facilities with a discounted rate for Denton residents. City of Denton Aquatics offers a variety of programs, including swim lessons, private lessons, swim teams, and water aerobics.

- Can I purchase a membership to all three aquatic facilities?

Yes, we offer an individual All Access Annual Pass at a discounted resident rate of $150 per person. The nonresident rate is $155. We also offer an additional discounted rate for the purchase of four or more at $120 per resident and $125 for nonresidents.
Four or more passes must be purchased in the same transaction.
- Is Denton Natatorium (NAT) a public pool?

Yes, the NAT is a public pool that operates under a joint-use facility agreement with Denton Independent School District, therefore making the NAT accessible to DISD for swim meets, practices, and water polo matches.
- How long is one length of the competition pool?

The competition pool is 25-yards in length. There are 8 lanes with a depth of 5-ft or greater and an additional 2 shallow lanes.
- When does Water Works Park open?

Water Works Park opens on May 27, 2023. It is open daily through Aug. 6, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Noon-7 p.m. Sunday. Starting August 12, Water Works Park is open on weekends only through Labor Day, Sept. 4.

No, the only flotation devices permitted are U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets and puddle jumpers.
- Can I bring a cooler into Water Works Park?

Coolers are permitted with the purchase of a Cooler Pass.
Passes are available for $5 a day or $60 for the season. Commercial food/beverage is prohibited inside of Water Works Park. Unopened water bottles will be allowed, 1 per person. All other drink containers must be empty upon entering. Water bottle refill stations are located throughout the park and inside the Natatorium lobby.
