Adapted Recreation for the Entire Community
These classes and events provide individuals with physical and developmental disabilities a chance to participate in recreation programs with their peers while enhancing their physical, social, and emotional wellbeing. Adapted Summer Camp
Ages 5-14

Half-day adapted recreation summer program to best fit the needs of your child. Summer program will include sensory and cognitively stimulating activities, physical strength activities, sensory play, and many more. Siblings are welcome and encouraged!
Sports

Wednesdays, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. (We do not meet on the first Wednesday of the month)
This instructor-led program allows you to try out a variety of sports and physical activities. Indoor and outdoor sports include step aerobics, tennis, golf, hiking, basketball, and more!
Art and Crafts

Free with rec pass
Tuesdays, 12-1 p.m.
Instructor-led program through guided arts and crafts that work on expression, motor skills, and creativity. Join us for paper mache, tie-dye, painting, soap making, marbling, jewelry making, and more!
Social Connections

Get to know new friends while trying new activities. Have the opportunity to go out in the community and see sporting events, movies, and plays, eat at restaurants, or just hang out together.

Dances
Monthly dances are held every month at North Lakes Rec Center. Themed decorations, music, and light refreshments. $5 or free with a rec pass. 7-9 p.m.
