Home Chemical Collection
All Denton residents have access to home chemical collection services. This service takes unused chemicals, expired batteries, and burned-out light bulbs that need to be disposed of properly to avoid contaminating our water supplies and landfills. Items collected will be reused, recycled, or properly disposed.
Note: Home Chemical Collection services are for City of Denton residents only.
Collection Options
Residents are able to drop off household hazardous waste in person or by scheduling a curbside collection.
- Drop it off in person by visiting 1527 Mayhill Rd. Bldg #300 on Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
- Schedule a curbside collection by filling out the Solid Waste Self-Service form at www.cityofdenton.com/SWSelfService or by calling Customer Service at (940) 349-8700.

Examples of items available at the ReUse store include paints, household cleaners, and lawn and garden chemicals.
