2014 Bond Program

In 2014, Denton voters approved a bond program for street improvements, public safety facilities, stormwater drainage and flood control improvements, and park system improvements.

Proposition 1: Street Improvements

Authorized the issuance of $61,710,000 in bonds for the purpose of construction, reconstruction, restructuring and extending streets, roadways, and other traffic an transportation facilities, including the purchase of land to support these improvements. The proposition also included up to $30,000 for the installation of related public art.
