Stream Clean in Denton, Texas

You can make a difference in our community by volunteering for this event, which improves the appearance of our city and impacts our quality of life by targeting specific waterways in and around Denton. When litter makes its way into our storm drains and drainage ditches, it doesn't stop there — it ends up in our lakes, streams, and rivers.


Stream Clean takes place throughout the city at various waterways. Once registered, you will receive your specific clean-up location. Free breakfast will be served prior the the clean-up at the Denton Civic Center from 8:00 to 8:45 AM. 


Please complete the registration form below! Please complete the Stream Clean Volunteer Waiver attached to the form and bring in a physical copy to your supply pickup. 



As a registered volunteer, you can pick up your FREE cleanup supplies from the City of Denton as well as your Free Stream Clean T-Shirt

Supply Pickup will take place at the Denton Civic Center 321 E Mckinney St. 

Thursday Nov. 2 from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Friday Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Event Schedule 

8:00 AM - Breakfast at the Denton Civic Center 321 E Mckinney St
8:45 AM - Volunteers leave the Civic Center to go to their assigned clean up sites
9:00 AM - Stream Clean litter clean up begins
11:00 AM - Clean up concludes City Staff will return all collected trash and recycling to the Civic Center for disposal
