Public is Invited to Meet the Finalists and Provide Feedback

DENTON, TX, July 28, 2022 – The City of Denton is hosting a public reception to meet the finalists for Denton Police Chief on Thursday, August 4 from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Development Services Building (401 N Elm St.). In addition to meeting the candidates, attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the finalists.

The reception will cap off a full day of city tours and interviews with panels that will include City and Department leadership teams, Police Department staff, and community members.

“We are excited to meet the finalists in person and gather input from a variety of stakeholders,” City Manager Sara Hensley said. “We hope that any member of the public who is interested will attend the reception that evening and provide their feedback to help us select the best candidate.”

A list of the finalists, including their biographies and photos, will be released at noon on Tuesday, August 2.
