The City of Denton City Council will hold a public hearing and consider approval of an ordinance of the City of Denton, Texas, regarding a change in the zoning district and use classification on approximately 2.407 acres of land from a Mixed-Use Neighborhood (MN) District to a Planned Development (PD) District. The site is generally located at the southeast corner of US 380 and Ector Street in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas; adopting an amendment to the City’s official zoning map; providing for a penalty in the maximum amount of $2,000.00 for violations thereof; providing a severability clause and an effective date.

Any citizen or group of citizens interested in attending the public hearing is invited to do so. If you plan to attend, you will be given an opportunity to speak for or against the change, or you may attend only to observe. Applicants and their agents are expected to attend.

City Council may approve, any request which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested, and which is deemed consistent with Denton 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
