Take advantage of the cooler weather with a morning walk or run. Studies have shown that exercising outside reduces stress and improves your mood.
Don’t get off track. Stay motivated to stick to your exercise routine by enlisting a workout buddy. If you did get off track of never got on, join a gym. Denton Parks and Rec offers a gym membership which includes access to fitness equipment.
We have group Exercises classes that run 6 days a weeklong and all year long, check out our website for an updated class schedule with all offerings.

A barbell workout for anyone looking to get toned and fit fast! Build strength using light to moderately weighted barbells, free weights, and body weight exercises.

CHAIR YOGA
A series of gentle seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. A chair is used for standing support and posture alignment. Close-toed shoes have required for the duration of this mat-free class.
