The City of Denton Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council amending the Denton Development Code related to Short-Term Rental, specifically amendments to Sections 5.3.5T.1.b and 5.3.5T.2.e.iii related to requiring that a short-term rental property is the applicant’s primary residence.

After the P&Z meeting, the recommendation of P&Z will be forwarded to the City Council for consideration and final action. P&Z may recommend, and City Council may approve, any request which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested and which is deemed consistent with Denton 2040 Comprehensive Plan.
