UPDATE: The road closure is now expected to be completed by Dec. 31.
DENTON, TX, Nov. 9, 2023 – Beginning Monday, Nov 13, N. Bonnie Brae Street will be closed to thru-traffic from N. Elm Street (US77) to Bronco Way/Riney Road for road construction. Specifically, a 16-inch water line will be installed as part of the City of Denton Northwest Water Transmission Main Improvement Project.
Motorists needing to reach Denton High School, King’s Ridge subdivision, or the Beverley at Denton, will need to utilize the detours at Riney Road or Windsor Drive. Signage has been placed in the area marking the detour route. The road closure and detour are anticipated to be in effect until Friday, Dec, 1.
All street closures and listed dates are subject to change based on evolving or unexpected conditions. The public could encounter possible delays in the area and should plan accordingly.
