The City of Denton City Council will hold a public hearing and consider adoption of an ordinance regarding a zoning change request by the applicant Dennis Chovan of Halff & Associates Inc., on behalf of the Harris Ranch Ownership; to initially zone approximately 247.78 acres of land recently annexed into the city to a Light Industrial (LI) Zoning District; to rezone approximately 25.84 acres of land from a Highway Corridor (HC) Zoning District to a LI Zoning District; and to rezone approximately 7.21 acres of land from a Mixed-Use Regional (MR) Zoning District to a LI Zoning District. The site is generally located on the southwest corner of I-35 North and the future extension of Loop 288, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.
