ABOUT THE AWARD
Each year the Economic Development Partnership Board recognizes a small and large business for their contribution to the economic growth and prosperity of the Denton community. This year the Board voted to create the category of Minority/Women/Veteran Owned Business of the Year. Businesses are nominated by the Economic Development Partnership Board members for such worthy contributions as public/private partnerships, job creation, community relations and support, longevity and commitment to the community, leadership in their respective industry, successful business practices, innovation, and environmental stewardship. Recipient selection criteria previously adopted by the Economic Development Partnership Board is utilized to aid in the nomination and selection of a recipient company. Consideration is for business exhibiting these characteristics September 2020 – August 2021.
