Yeah, maybe it's a little cold outside, but that's doesn't mean you have to stay inside all the time! Get out and enjoy the crisp winter air, get your cardio up, and you'll be warmer in no time.
Check out our trails!
We have miles of paved, unpaved, graveled trails for you to enjoy. Most of our trails are on AllTrails here, and you can see reviews, mileage, and a few pictures of what to expect.
Looking for an easy paved trail? Try Southlakes Park for a 2-mile jaunt.
Want nature? Then you can't beat the many trails at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Park.

The Mountain Bike Trail
This recently opened thanks to the hundreds of hours from volunteers. It's Denton's very first Mountain Bike Trail, and that means you're obligated to try it at least once. The trail is over 5 miles and great for all levels. Beginners should find themselves challenged while the more advanced can really make it what they want.
Park at the Davis Entrance at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center and ride your bike north about 200 yards until you get to the entrance of the Mountain Bike Trail.
Tennis!
We have courts all over town for you to enjoy. Most of the courts are at the Goldfield Tennis Center by North Lakes Rec Center. However, there are more courts for open play at South Lakes Park and Joe Skiles Park. Bring a friend and have fun volleying some, or go all out and join our tennis lessons!
Driving Range
Come out to the North Lakes Driving Range! We have over 15 spaced-out bays to enjoy. Buy buckets of balls at the clubhouse, or get a refillable club card and fill your buckets up whenever you please.
There's also a putting and chipping green to practice on, and we offer lessons!
Disc Golf
North Lakes Park now offers TWO different disc golf courses, and there are many social groups to join that go and play frequently. But, if you prefer to play by yourself, that's not a problem either! Take your discs, follow the map, and have a great day.
