1. Can I purchase a membership to all three aquatic facilities?

Yes, we offer an individual All Access Annual Pass at a discounted resident rate of $220 per person. The nonresident rate is $240.   This pass includes a Platinum membership for Water Works Park.

2. Is Denton Natatorium (NAT) a public pool?

Yes, the NAT is a public pool that operates under a joint-use facility agreement with Denton Independent School District, therefore making the NAT accessible to DISD for swim meets and practices and water polo matches and practices.

3. How long is one length of the competition pool?

The competition pool is 25-yards in length. There are 8 lanes with a depth of 5-ft or greater and an additional 2 shallow lanes. 

4. When does Water Works Park open?

Water Works Park opens on May 25, 2024. It is open daily through Aug. 4, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and Noon-7 p.m. Sunday.  Starting August 10, Water Works Park is open on weekends only through Labor Day, Sept. 2.

5. Can I bring my own blow up floats to the pools?

No, the only flotation devices permitted are U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets and puddle jumpers.

6. Can I bring a cooler into Water Works Park?

Coolers are permitted with the purchase of a Cooler Pass.

Passes are available for $5 a day or $60 for the season. Commercial food/beverage is prohibited inside of Water Works Park. Unopened water bottles will be allowed, 1 per person. All other drink containers must be empty upon entering. Water bottle refill stations are located throughout the park and inside the Natatorium lobby.

7. Is there a sprayground or splashpad in Denton?

Yes, Denton Parks and Recreation maintains the sprayground at Carl Gene Young Sr. Park.
