Because the DDC addresses complex and comprehensive issues and regulations, Denton Code 2030 has divided the DDC updates into three modules. Module 3 focuses on development standards.
Module 3 is still under development. Check back soon for additional information. We will post the public drafts here when available.
In Module 3, the proposed DDC addresses development standards and regulations. This includes such things as site layout and building design standards. The major elements addressed in this section are land disturbing activities, site design, building design, access and circulation, parking, landscaping, site drainage, and utilities. This section also describes platting procedures, an important step in the development process. Here you will also find specific regulations related to public improvements (roadways, water, wastewater, drainage, etc.).
