The following resources will help you prepare for potential emergencies and disasters that are prone to North Texas, and will help keep you and your loved ones safe. 


Plug-In To Communication Resources

Emergency Warning Systems are real-time watch and warning messages that require your immediate attention due to an advanced or immediate concern for public safety. It is recommended you not rely on just one form of warning, but rather two or more.

Emergency Notifications, Alerts, and Updates are messages that serve to distribute relavent information in advance of, during, or after a potential or actual emergency or disaster. These messages are distributed via digital platforms intended to reach a mass audience.

 


Community Preparedness Partners

The City of Denton partners with local nonprofits to help provide you with additional resources and information before, during, and after an emergency or disaster. Please keep in mind that some organizations can very well be impacted by an event that would prevent them from being able to serve the community.
