The City of Denton Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) will hold a public hearing and consider making a recommendation to City Council regarding a request by Camila Martinez to rezone approximately 0.101 acres from a Neighborhood Residential 2 (NR-2) district to a Neighborhood Residential 4 (NR-4) district.
The subject property is generally located on the north side of Prairie Street, adjacent to Oakwood Cemetery and approximately 610 feet west of South Bradshaw Street, in the City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.

Any citizen or group of citizens interested in attending the public hearing is invited to do so. If you attend, you will be given an opportunity to speak for or against the change, or you may attend only to observe. Applicants and their agents are expected to attend.
Properties within 200 feet of the subject property were notified of the request pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code. As a courtesy, the City of Denton also sends notification to all physical addresses within a 500-foot radius of the subject property.
The recommendation of P&Z will be forwarded to the City Council for final action, which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. P&Z may recommend, and City Council may approve, any request which is equivalent to or more restrictive than that which is requested and which is deemed consistent with Denton Plan 2030.
