➔ By law, owners must maintain current rabies vaccinations and properly register with Animal Services Dept.
CHILDREN, AGES 11-16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
A playful or unvaccinated dog can inadvertently harm young and/or small children; therefore children, ages 10 and younger are not allowed in the off-leash dog pens.
THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED IN THE DOG PENS
➔ Aggressive dogs and/or dogs in heat;
➔ Spiked and/or prong training collars;
➔ Puppies younger than four months old;
➔ Strollers, bikes, scooters, and/or skateboards;

TIME IT JUST RIGHT, IN AND OUT OF THE PENS
First, enter the double-gate off-leash transition area if there are no other dogs or people already in it; otherwise, wait your turn. Next, close the first gate, then remove the dog's leash and enter the second gate into the dog pen. Once in the dog pen, close the gate and then step away to avoid overcrowding the entrance/exit. Denton has a leash law; therefore, dogs must be on a leash when they are not in a dog pen.
ONE SIZE DOESN'T FIT ALL
Off-leash dog pens are separated by small (under 29 pounds) and large dogs (over 30 pounds).
All other general park rules and City ordinances must be obeyed.
You are responsible for your dog's behavior and assume all liability and hold harmless and indemnify the City of Denton from any and all liability arising from the use of the dog park. Enter the park/pens area at your own risk. For more dog park rules, regulations, and etiquette, visit www.dentonparks.com
