Dyno Dirt

Dyno Dirt compost, soil blend, and mulches are excellent for landscapes and gardens, as well as an efficient use of our resources. Made and sold by the Beneficial Reuse Division of the Water Utilities Department, they are produced primarily from collected yard trimmings and recycled biosolids. The Dyno Dirt program prolongs the life of our landfill by recycling material that might otherwise go unused.

Dyno Dirt products have excellent soil-conditioning and moisture-retention properties and provide natural, slow-release fertilization. Denton-area residents and professionals have been using Dyno Dirt products since 1997 for landscape planting and mulching, lawn establishment and maintenance, flower gardens, nursery crop and green house production, and turf and sod production.
