Theme: United We Stand

Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration that includes an art competition, program with guests speakers, gospel, fellowship, and a free community health fair. Local artists, grades K-12, are invited to participate in the art competition focusing on the theme, United We Stand.

Art will be accepted and displayed at MLK Jr. Rec Center through Feb. 4, and judging will take place Feb. 13-14. Winners will be notified and honored during the celebration on Feb. 17.
